Jeanne Finkenbinder appeals from a trial court order which followed arbitration of her claim against her underinsurance carrier, State Farm Mutual Auto Insurance Co. Following the filing of the arbitration award, Finkenbinder moved the trial court to award costs, preverdict interest on her medical expenses and postaward interest on all damages. The trial court denied her motions.

Finkenbinder now renews her claims that: (1) she should be awarded costs; (2) she should be permitted to recover preverdict interest on the stipulated medical expenses; and (3) the common law should be changed to…
