OPINION OF THE COURT ON REMAND AND ACTION ON PETITION FOR NEW TRIAL

2Per curiam

Appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer members. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of rape, forcible sodomy, and aggravated assault in violation of Articles 120, 125, and 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 920, 925, and 928 (1982), respectively. His sentence to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for life, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to the grade of Private El was approved by the convening authority.
