The plaintiff, Michael W. Malchik, appeals1 from the decision of the workers’ compensation review board (board) affirming a decision of the workers’ compensation commissioner for the second district (commissioner) denying compensation for the plaintiffs coronary artery disease. The principal issue in this appeal is whether the board properly affirmed the commissioner’s determination that the plaintiffs coronary artery disease did not constitute an occupational disease as defined by General Statutes § 31-275 (15)2 and, therefore, his notice of claim was not subject to the…
