Before Buchanan, J., Darlington. The defendant, J. J. Ward, was convicted by the town council of Darlington for violating an ordinance prohibiting the keeping of hogs within the corporate limits of the town. He appealed to the Circuit Court. The Circuit decree is as follows: This case comes up on the appeal from the decision of the mayor fining the appellant for the violation of an ordinance forbidding the keeping of hogs within the corporate limits.

The town council of Darlington, in this State, by an ordinance adopted on the 24th day of June, 1895, declared that it should be unlawful for any'person to keep any hog or hogs within the limits of the town of Darlington, after the first day of January A. D. 1896, and that any person who shall transgress this ordinance should be punished by a fine of not less than $10 or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days. The defendant, J. J.
