Following a stipulated facts trial, defendant was convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Former ORS 475.992 (2003), renumbered as ORS 475.840 (2005). He appeals, assigning error to the trial court’s denial of his motions to suppress evidence discovered during a warrant search of his bedroom and inculpatory statements he made following discovery of that evidence. We are bound by the trial court’s findings of historical fact if they are supported by constitutionally sufficient evidence in the record and review the trial court’s legal conclusions for errors of law.
