The defendant, Alkeith Gayle, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of carrying a pistol without a permit in violation of General Statutes § 29-35 (a), conspiracy to sell narcotics in violation of General Statutes §§ 2 la-277 (a) and 53a-48, sale of narcotics in violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (a), attempt to commit robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-49 and 53a-134 (a) (2), and felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53U-54C.1 The trial court sentenced him to a total effective term of…
