WISS, Judge:

Appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, during March of 1989. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of rape and sodomy, in violation of Articles 120 and 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 920 and 925, respectively. He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for 9 years, forfeiture of $500.00 pay per month for 108 months, and reduction to pay grade E-l.
