Appellant, W. H. Hickman, a practicing attorney-at-law, filed an intervening petition in a certain partition proceeding pending in the circuit court of Christian county for the purpose of enforcing an alleged attorney’s lien under the provisions of sec. 14, ch. 13, Ill. Rev. Stat. 1941 [Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 9.13] against the interest of one of the plaintiffs, Leon Cazalet, in and to the real estate involved in said proceeding.
