This is an appeal by the plaintiff, National Bond & Investment Company, a corporation, from a judgment of the municipal court of Chicago in favor of the defendant, Henry Banners.

On a promissory note, the plaintiff obtained a judgment by confession against the defendant for the sum of $1,259.34. Thereafter the defendant moved to have the judgment vacated and set aside and filed an affidavit in support of the motion.
