Respondent James A. Daughtry filed suit in Island County Superior Court claiming breach of warranty in the alleged failure of a home sewage system manufactured by petitioner Jet Aeration Company. The trial court awarded judgment to Daughtry, and the Court of Appeals affirmed. We granted review to determine (1) whether the trial court properly considered and found the statute of limitations to be no bar to the action, and (2) whether the trial court properly rejected Jet Aeration's argument that lack of privity between the parties required dismissal of the case.
