GRAY, J., pro tem.

The right front wheel and fender of a Cadillac sedan then being driven northerly by the appellant on the Bayshore highway near Brisbane in the county of San Mateo struck a Pontiac coupe, also headed northerly, on its left side near the door and the junction of the front fender and running board. Respondent Linde, the driver of the Pontiac, and respondent Trafford, his passenger, each received injuries whose extent is not here questioned. To recover damages they filed a joint complaint, in which each, in a separate count, alleged that appellant’s negligence proximately caused…
