This is an action for specific performance of a contract. Plaintiff also asked for an accounting and the appoint ment of a receiver, but neither is involved in this appeal. The controversy arose as follows: Prior to 1925 the plaintiff, Ed C. Lee, and others were owners of certain oil and gas leases. Plaintiff commenced oral negotiations to sell the leases to the National Refining Company. For the purpose of determining the issues involved herein, it is not necessary to distinguish between the Ohio corporation, and the Oklahoma corporation, and they will be referred to as the defendant.…
