Plaintiffs instituted this action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff Beverly Poe and consequential damages sustained by her husband, plaintiff Robert W. Poe, while riding in their automobile, operated by the latter and which was struck by another automobile operated by defendant Talmadge 0. Lawrence. Plaintiffs’ complaint alleged that the injuries and damages sustained by them proximately resulted from the careless and negligent manner in which defendant operated his motor vehicle.
