David W. Watson (Watson) appeals from an order denying his amended Rule 24.035 motion for post-conviction relief. 1 Watson’s amended motion alleged, inter alia, that plea counsel was ineffective for failing to investigate whether Watson was advised of his Miranda rights prior to being questioned by police. 2 Following an evidentia-ry hearing, the motion court decided that Watson abandoned this particular claim of ineffective assistance of counsel by failing to present any evidence to support it at the hearing.
