This action was instituted by Roy S. Hansen against the Continental Casualty Company, a corporation, to recover benefits under a policy of accident insurance. In the trial of the case, at the close of the testimony on behalf of the plaintiff, and again at the close of all of the testimony, the defendant challenged the sufficiency of the evidence to warrant a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, both of which challenges were denied. The jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff, whereupon the defendant interposed a motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict. This motion was denied, and the…
