Defendant appellant, Monte L. Goad, has appealed to this court from a judgment entered against him on October 22, 1943 in the sum of $6,000 by the circuit court of Edgar county in favor of plaintiff appellee, Audrey Wilson Grissom, for damages alleged to have been sustained in an automobile collision which occurred at the intersection of State Highway Routes No. 49 and No. 133 in Edgar county, Illinois, on December 15,1941.
