One only of the next of kin, has been the main cause of the litigations which have produced the fruits of this controversy. He is now naturally unwilling to pay his share of the cost of his defeats, to any greater extent, at all events, than the law will sanction.. At the same time, he is not alone in resisting the allowance of the credits claimed by the administrator for payments made to counsel in the various litigations which he has instituted.
