Plaintiff Ben Scherr sued defendants Western Sky Financial LLC, Martin A. Webb (“Webb”), and CashCall, Inc. in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, alleging that defendants violated various Illinois statutes by issuing to him a usurious loan.
