HOLDAWAY, Judge:

The appellant, Wilma J. MeTighe, appeals a June 2, 1993, decision of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (BVA or Board) which determined that she was not entitled to an earlier effective date for an award of dependency and indemnity compensation (DIC). The Court will affirm the decision of the BVA.
