SCHOELEN, Judge:

The appellant, Bill M. Noah, appeals through counsel a November 28, 2014, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) decision that denied an effective date earlier than December 19, 2007, for the award of disability compensation for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Record of Proceedings (R.) at 2-11. This appeal is timely, and the Court has jurisdiction to review the Board’s decision pursuant to 38 U.S.C. §§ 7252(a) and 7266(a).
