Mr. Justice McCollum:
In 1866 a copartnership was formed under the name of the Pittsburgh Savings Bank, for the purpose of transacting a banking business at Pittsburgh, Pa. The capital was fixed at *502$800,000, and divided into shares of $100 each. A purchaser of one or more of these shares became a member of the partnership, and was called a stockholder. The management of the bank was committed to a board of directors, a president, vice-president, and a treasurer or cashier.
