This case presents the question of whether the Merit Systems Protection Board (“the Board”) has jurisdiction over an appeal by an administrative law judge from a decision by the employing agency, the Social Security Administration (“SSA”), to eliminate his administrative and managerial duties as Hearing Office Chief Administrative Law Judge.
