United States Mutual Insurance Company issued to Martin Burik a public liability automobile insurance policy covering the operation of a Ford coupe automobile for the period from September 5, 1941 to September 5, 1942. Burik and his wife conducted a retail grocery store and meat market at 10742 South Kedzie avenue, Chicago. Herbert Muthart lived with his wife and children at or near 101st street and Sacramento avenue, Chicago. Muthart’s home was about one and one half miles northeast of Burik’s store.
