In this medical malpractice action, plaintiffs are Adam, a three-year-old child, and his mother.1 Defendants are Dr. Charles, mother’s obstetrician during her pregnancy with Adam; Dr. Diehl, who attended mother during her labor and delivery; and the hospital where Adam was delivered. Plaintiffs appeal the trial court’s judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of defendants, assigning as error, inter alia, several rulings made by the trial court.
