Joan Arndt, (the “Plaintiff’), brought an adversary proceeding against Steven Hanna, (the “Debtor”), a Chapter 7 debtor, seeking a determination that an arbitration award (“Award”) against him rendered in the amount of $85,540.25 and confirmed by the Supreme Court of the State of New York, was nondischargeable under section 523(a)(2) of the Bankruptcy Code (the “Code”).
