On June 10, 2011, Mr. Ralph J. Lamson (“plaintiff’) filed a complaint alleging infringement by defendant United States (“the government”) of United States Patent Number 6,425,764 (“'764 patent”), issued to plaintiff in 2002 and entitled “Virtual Reality Immersion Therapy for Treating Psychological, Psychiatric, Medical, Educational and Self-Help Problems.” Compl. ¶¶ 1, 4.2.
