This is an action brought by the State Superintendent of Banks for the purpose of enforcing the collection of an assessment levied on certain stockholders of the Bank of Angola, by reason of the provisions of sections 80 and 120 of the Banking Law of the State. On the 27th day of November, 1931, the plaintiff herein, being satisfied that such bank could not with safety and expediency continue its business, did, pursuant to the provisions of section 57 of the Banking Law, take possession of such bank and is now engaged in the liquidation thereof.
