About 9 o’clock on the evening of January 4, 1913, an automobile, in which Alice Loyd was riding, collided with a locomotive of the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fé Railway Company at the intersection of the railway of that company with Jennings avenue, in the city of Ft. Worth. At the place where the accident happened, the street mentioned runs practically north and south, and the railway line runs slightly southwest and northeast.
