We granted further appellate review to consider the interpretation to be given to G. L. c. 260, § 9, 2 including its last clause, the so-called “borrowing clause.” See Wilcox v. Riverside Park Enters., Inc., 21 Mass. App. Ct. 419 (1986). This provision is so named because, in some circumstances, the clause requires application of the statute of limitations of another jurisdiction.
