Defendant Midland National Insurance Company issued a policy of insurance to Diehl Machines, Inc., a manufacturer of wood processing machinery, insuring it against liability for property damage caused by accident. William F. Kaufman and Evelyn Kaufman 1 purchased a saw manufactured by Diehl for use in their lumber business and they suffered substantial monetary loss because of defects in the saw.
