Plaintiff in this diversity jurisdiction suit against her former employer alleges that defendant wrongfully discharged her in violation of Kansas public policy. Plaintiff contends that her termination was in retaliation for plaintiffs exercise of her rights under the Kansas Workers Compensation Act. Defendant argues that plaintiffs termination was based on an excessive number of unexcused absences.
