On 23 August 2012, a jury found Emanuel Edward Snelling, Jr. (defendant), guilty of larceny from the person, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and second degree kidnapping. The trial court sentenced defendant as a prior record level III offender (PRL III) to consecutive terms of active imprisonment of 26 to 41 months (second degree kidnapping) and 84 to 110 months (robbery with a dangerous weapon), with 6 to 8 months (larceny from the person) to be served concurrently.
