This suit was instituted by the Southern Oil Corporation, as .plaintiff, against the Yale Natural Gas Company, as defendant, seeking to enjoin the defendant from shutting off or failing to deliver to the plaintiff natural gas for fuel purposes. The gist of plaintiff’s action, as set forth in its petition, is that on or about the 4th day of January, 1916, the parties hereto entered into a contract in writing, a copy of which was attached to the petition as an exhibit, by the terms of which the defendant agreed to sell and deliver to the plaintiff, at its refinery, natural gas for fuel purposes…
