This case raises the question whether the EEOC’s 300-day filing period for employment discrimination claims under Title VII, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq., is available when the appellant failed to file his claim with the Texas Commission within its 180 day limitation period. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has a typical worksharing agreement with the Texas Commission on Human Rights (TCHR).
