The defendants, E*TRADE Financial Corporation (“E*TRADE Financial”) and E*TRADE Securities LLC (“E*TRADE Securities”) (collectively, “E*TRADE”), provide brokerage services to clients, including by routing client orders to third-party trading venues to effectuate the purchase and sale of securities.
