Irwin, J.:
The first ground for reversal urged by the defendant is: “No finding of the amount due the plaintiff is made by the jury.” But counsel say the court undertook to cure this failure by the finding of such fact. We do not think the finding of the court is susceptible of this construction. We think the verdict of the jury was broad enough to authorize the court’s finding. True, the jury do not, in so many words, say there is due the plaintiff from the defendant the sum of $346.50; neither could they render such a verdict in this class of a case. But we think that…
