The Louisiana & Arkansas Railway Co. (L & A) appeals from a jury verdict holding it liable under § 1 of the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (the Act or FELA)1 for injuries incurred by one of its brakemen in an automobile accident. L & A challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to support the jury verdict.
