Susan Ranae Jackson was charged with two counts of second-degree controlled substance crime in violation of Minn.Stat. § 152.022, subds. 1(1), 2(1) (2006), and two counts of child endangerment in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.378, subd. 1(b)(2) (2006). Before her trial, Jackson moved to suppress evidence seized from her home on the ground that the police executed a search warrant with an invalid authorization for a nighttime search.
