Plaintiff Prince George’s Hospital Center (“P.G. Hospital”) filed this action claiming entitlement under the common law of subrogation as a third-party beneficiary of contracts entered into between defendant Advantage Health Plan, Inc. (“Advantage”), a managed care organization (“MCO”), and the District of Columbia, and otherwise, to reimbursement from Ad vantage for emergency services provided between July 2001 and August 2002 to five patients insured under defendant’s plan.
