This case arises out of a collision between an omnibus of the defendant company and an automobile owned by the plaintiff. The negligence of the defendant was admitted. The only question related to the measure of damages. It appeared from the evidence that the plaintiff’s car was parked in front of his house, at the noon hour, on a hillside street, and that the defendant’s,vehicle, which had been left without any person in charge at a place on the street further up the hill, started down the declivity and came in contact with the plaintiff’s car; the force of the impact…
