The defendant Felix Santiago, a juvenile, was indicted for the murder of Vilma Flores; armed assault with the intent to murder and assault by means of a dangerous weapon on Ludwin Midence; unlawful possession of a firearm; and unlawful possession of ammunition.1 The defendant waived his right to a jury trial in the first instance, and was adjudicated delinquent on all counts after a bench trial.
