Defendant appeals his conviction for endangering the welfare of a minor, ORS 163.575, asserting two assignments of error. First, he argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress evidence discovered during a stop that defendant contends was unlawful. According to defendant, when the police initially stopped him, they lacked reasonable suspicion that he had committed, or was about to commit, a crime.
