A jury found appellant, Enrique Diaz Sanchez, guilty of aiding and abetting the manufacture of methamphetamine in violation of Health and Safety Code 1 section 11379.6 because he permitted his ranch to be used as the location for a methamphetamine laboratory. In addition, the jury found true the 10-year enhancement allegation that the amount of methamphetamine exceeded 10 pounds (§ 11379.8). The court sentenced appellant to the midterm of five years, struck the enhancement pursuant to Penal Code section 1170.1, subdivision (h) and ordered a restitution fine of $1,000.…
