The intervening plaintiff, the department of children and families (department), appeals, upon our grant of certification, from the judgment of the Appellate Court dismissing the department’s appeal from the trial court’s order compelling the plaintiff, Joseph Abreu, to respond to deposition questions in a separate proceeding brought by the defendant minor child, Kari-ssa Leone, against the department.
