Ben F. King, Sr., owned a large body of land in Greenup county bordering on the Ohio river opposite the city of Portsmouth, Ohio. He died intestate and a resident of that county on September 21,1893. He was married, and there was born to him and his wife seven children, some of whom were living at the time of his death, while others had died leaving children surviving.
