A demurrer was sustained in the court below to the appellant’s bill, which was brought for the infringement of letters patent No. 848,144, issued March 26, 1907, for “a steering wheel for autovehieles.”' The wheel is described in the specifications as having a rim with a smooth outer surface, and an inner surface with scallops or indentations, so that the fingers of the operator may tightly grip the wheel and hold the same from slipping. Two forms of construction are suggested — one in which the rim of the wheel is integral, and one in which there is an inner metallic…
