MEMORANDUM OPINION

CARL B. JONES, Judge:

Appellant, Lenders Collection Corporation, seeks review of a summary judgment granted against it on the basis that its claims were barred by the statute of limitations. Speeifi-cally, one issue is presented by this appeal; should the six year limitations period of 12A O.S.1991 § 3-118(a) be given retroactive effect and applied hereto? We believe it should.
