This action was brought by plaintiff as beneficiary named in an accident insurance policy for a maximum of $5,000, with accumulations for ad*655vanced premiums, issued by defendant on May 1, 1908, to her husband, William S. Abbott, who during his lifetime was a resident of Detroit, employed for 23 years as an agent and adjuster for a fire insurance company, having supervision of its business in the State of Michigan. His death occurred at his home in Detroit on November 10, 1916.
