Petitioner Mediterranean Exports, Inc., a Florida corporation (Mediterranean), is the defendant in an action pending in respondent court. Real party in interest Harvard Investment Company, a California corporation (Harvard Investment), is the plaintiff. Mediterranean filed an answer and a cross-complaint in the action.
