Plaintiff Arthur M. Frankel sought damages for breach of an employment contract by his former employers, defendants Four Star International, Inc. and David B. Charney. The trial court, sitting without a jury, found defendants liable for breach of contract, and awarded plaintiff Frankel $75,000 in compensatory damages and $10,000 for the intentional infliction of emotional distress. Both plaintiff and defendants appealed from this judgment.
